Horseshoe Springs Association, Inc.
is a Non-Profit Association formed under the Sanitary Projects Act of the State of New Mexico. The Association was formed in September 1998
as the result of a historic Land Exchange between the US Forest Service and the Horseshoe Springs Summer Home Permittees Association Water Coop. As part of this procees, property boundaries were surveyed
as well as studies for threatened flora and fauna. Since there were three Native American field houses on HSA
property, it was necessary to have these sites mitigated. The
Horseshoe Springs Association is located about 10 miles north of the village of Jemez Springs on state road 126.
